Smart-Card based Logistic Solution

The system was developed to accurately monitor the loading and unloading of the LPG tank tankers. The Smartcard based system is used to perform the mandatory checks on the validity of various licenses and permits that a Tank truck and its driver needs to possess before he is allowed to load LPG. The card also carries the transaction details of this (and earlier) shipments so that it is available at the unloading location directly for updating the local information management system. In addition to the above, the system also covers Visitor Pass and Gate Pass modules.


Bonus Card Loyalty Application

BonusCard is a Loyalty application based on Memory Cards (1K memory cards, based on SLE 4442 standard) and the Schlumberger (now Axalto) Magic 5100 Point-Of-Sale (POS) Terminal. Members who subscribe to the loyalty program are issued Smartcards on which the loyalty points are awarded on each purchase at the Petrol pumps. These points can then be redeemed for gifts listed in the gifts' catalogue. The Smartcard can also be used at to other merchant establishments who have subscribed to the Loyalty program and it can also be used to order LPG Cylinder refills for LPG consumers with the same petroleum company


BranchView Solution

A XML based solution to gather data from remote profit-centers (branches, factories, regional offices) and aggregating it for advanced management reporting. Pushing of reports - both standard and exception - to higher management is a key feature of this solution. The solution is designed to work with any database (including Clipper, XBase, Access, FoxPro etc). The data transfer mechanism, though over dial-up, is designed to be inherently reliable and robust, thus ensuring a cost-effective solution. HPGas Distributor Synchronization

The solution provides data synchronization from HPCL's 1800+ distributor locations and filling plants spread all over india in rural as well as metros.The solution has an unattended mechanism for picking-up incremental consumer data, subscription voucher/transfer voucher and important reports on a weekly basis from the distributors PC, compressing and uploading them to a central server. This system has helped to consolidate HPCL's consumer data on monthly basis which exceeds 20 million individual consumer records. Detail MIS reports are also provided over the data.The system also acts as a backup for distributor data.


Interactive Voice Response System

Dealer IVRS : An application developed for HPCL's LPG Dealers, offers LPG cylinder booking facility for its consumers. Both domestic and non-domestic consumers can book their refill orders and get an on-line booking reference number. The system is integrated with the Dealers back-end software (HPGas application) provided by HPCL. The solution has been running successfully since 1996. PC-Network Trouble Ticketing IVRS: An IVRS application installed on internal EPABX facilitated the complaint booking for PCs, Printers, Network, communications device. A unique docket is allotted to each complain and the maintenance engineer is provided with an hourly list of calls to be attended. The engineer can also update the stats against the docket number using the same IVRS, within an allotted time-frame (typically 4 hours). The actual time taken for the issue to be fixed is also tracked for support vendor appraisal.
